Questions to ask any AI security vendor
Four questions for any security tool that may use AI, with SegAudit's answers.

Security tools increasingly add AI models. Before one reads your firewall configurations, ask its vendor these four questions. These are SegAudit’s answers.

| Which AI model runs, and where? | None. No AI model is part of the analysis. Every finding comes from the configuration and traffic log you load, on your own machine. |
| Does any data or telemetry leave the machine? | No. The app makes no outbound connections, and its pages may only talk to the app itself. There is no telemetry. Usage is counted locally and leaves only in a counts-only report you read and upload yourself when you renew. |
| Is the model updated over the internet? | There is no model. The app never checks for updates on its own: it shows a link to the updates page, and new versions are signed releases you choose to download and carry in. |
| Can you run it with the network cable unplugged? | Yes. It runs fully offline, and licenses are verified offline from a signed license file. |
